The holiday season may be our favorite time of the year, as it’s filled with plenty of cheer and love. The holidays present the opportunity to show appreciation for dear friends and loved ones, so it’s no surprise that the magical time between Thanksgiving and New Years also tends to feel like engagement season.
As a leading diamond engagement ring retailer, we have the pleasure of helping lucky gentlemen select the perfect rings for their soon-to-be fiancés. We take them through the entire diamond buying process from diamond education to design, making sure that their brides love what they receive when they are finally asked the big question. We always feel honored to be a part of a couple’s relationship journey through their specially chosen and unique engagement ring. We want to share two of our favorite engagements that occurred during this holiday season. The Brian Gavin team was able to provide a unique and personalized diamond buying experience that resulted in two happy brides-to-be!
Colby’s fiancée, Stephen, first came to us last summer. After Stephen's initial meeting with Brian the Cutter, himself, he knew that Brian Gavin was the best place to find the perfect diamond. With Brian’s help, Stephen was able to find the perfect engagement ring for Colby – the beautiful and stunning Legera Pave.
For the proposal, Stephen planned a special trip to New Orleans to attend a holiday lights festival. It was in front of a gorgeous oak tree that was brilliantly wrapped in lights where Stephen decided to get down on one knee and ask for Colby’s hand in marriage. The beautiful scenery was enhanced when the couple’s friends, who were in hiding, surprised Colby to celebrate their engagement!
Sometimes, a cozy night in is just the perfect setting for a grand, romantic gesture. Marilia thought that her beau, Matthew, brought her ice cream for a special date night at home but surprised her with something even icier! She unwrapped a Brian Gavin 3 Row Domed Pave Solitaire Ring and was absolutely stunned by the perfect Hearts and Arrows pattern of her new stone and its equally beautiful packaging.
We’d love to congratulate all of the happy Brian Gavin Diamonds couples who got engaged over the holidays. If you would like to share your story, upload a photo to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use the hashtag #MyBGDLoveStory.
