Chris  started by asking if we could make him a setting similar to one he had seen, with a tapered pave shank using Brian Gavin Signature melee, and then linked to the Peggy in Platinum as a starting point. The setting he wanted was very much like the Peggy except for where the shank met the basket and asked if we could customize the Peggy, i.e. instead of being pinched at the top, more tapered He was also interested in identifying a Brian Gavin Signature hearts and arrows diamond and Jamie helped him to narrow down the options to a magnificent 1.21 J VS2.

We set about creating the CAD and emailed it to Chris for approval. He asked that the diamond melee go ¾ the way down the shank instead if half way and approved it.

I just wanted to send you a quick email saying THANK YOU for helping my now-fiancé Chris design my engagement ring.  I love the ring and feel that he (and you guys!) did a wonderful job incorporating all of the things I wanted most in a ring. Chris proposed on the beach in La Jolla, CA after a rooftop dinner.  Surprised yet again, he informed me that there was a photographer there taking pictures, and so I have included one of my favorite pictures from that night.
