Depending on a couple’s story and relationship, it might take weeks or even months to plan the perfect proposal that best represents their unique love story. For Rick and Meghan, there's a twist to their proposal story – one that no one could have predicted.
Their engagement was initially planned for August 26, 2017, an ordinary Saturday night, but little did they know that something much more significant was on its way. Always the planner, Rick had an idea of how the proposal would go. It would start with a nice dinner, pop the question, and end the night at a bar with friends to celebrate the momentous event. Unfortunately, Hurricane Harvey hit at the same time, knocking out power overnight and into the early morning hours.
Still wanting to go through with his proposal, Rick scrambled, trying to find an alternative plan on such short notice. First, Rick lured Meghan to the garage by asking for help with an errand, and that's when he proposed. Of course, Meghan was shocked and thought it was a joke at first before gleefully accept the ring.
To make his proposal to Meghan perfect, Rick chose the Legera Pave 18K White Gold engagement band with a Brian Gavin Select Cushion Cut Diamond. The ring has an illusion trim solitaire with four beads per stone to make it shine. It's a ring that genuinely reflects their love for one another.
Even though Rick had to pull together a last-minute plan, the happy couple is more in love than ever and excited to spend the rest of their lives together. We can’t wait to work with Rick and Meghan on a wedding band, and we couldn’t be happier for these two lovebirds as they embark on this new journey!
