Best of the Oscars 2015

The stars came out to shine at the 87th Academy Awards and we were completely enamored by last night’s glitz and glamour. The Oscars' red carpet was filled with A-listers dressed in every major fashion house, from classics like Chanel and Versace, to new trend makers like Thakoon and Alaia.  We’ve picked out our favorite bedazzled, laced and couture numbers that each deserve an award of its own, and what better of an award than a gorgeous piece of jewelry from Brian Gavin Diamonds?

Margot Robbie Oscars 2015 Look

Margot Robbie in Saint Laurent

Margot Robbie showed up on the red carpet in head to toe perfection. We love her classic black dress with the sheer sleeves. To amp up the look and define the plunging neckline, we would pair the gown with our layered Diamonds By The Yard Necklace in 18k Yellow Gold.

Lupita Nyong'o Oscars 2015 Look

Lupita Nyong’o in custom Calvin Klein Collection

2014’s Best Supporting Actress nominee commanded the red carpet in a custom gown covered in strands of pearls. Lupita opted not to wear a necklace with this gown, which is a winning choice as we think the dress is a statement in itself. Instead, she chose to pair her gown with simple pearl earrings.

Gwenyth Paltrow in Ralph & Russo Couture

Gwenyth’s dress is the true definition of femininity with its pastel pink hue and floral embellishment. To play up the floral theme, we’d love to see this look with our Large Flower Studs in Rose Gold.

Jessica Chastain's Oscars 2015 Look

Jessica Chastain in Givenchy Couture

Jessica’s dress hugged her curves in all the right places! We love the dress’s navy blue color paired with the actress’ blazing red hair, a perfect balance of cool and warm tones. To keep with the navy theme, we would pair this Oscars look with our Pear Drop Earrings featuring pear-shaped blue sapphires.

Emma Stone's Oscars Look 2015

Emma Stone in Elie Saab

Emma Stone has had some of the best looks this awards season, and the Academy Awards was no different. It was refreshing to see her in an eye-popping chartreuse Elie Saab number, which is a departure from her recent black and white red carpet outfits. To enhance the beading work on her long sleeved gown, we would love to see this dress with our Four Square Diamond Bracelet.

There you have it – our favorite looks from this year’s Academy Awards. Do you agree or disagree? Let us know in the comments.
