A dear customer called us a few weeks ago to replace her engagement ring with a magnificent 3 carat princess cut diamond. We had a wonderful time working with her to bring in the beautiful diamond she selected and then creating her Platinum X-prong with euroshank. On receiving it she sent the following e-mail:

I just came back from picking up the ring (yes, I had to leave work in the middle of the morning because I could NOT wait until lunchtime). I am not sure that I possess the vocabulary to express my feelings. Stunned! Shocked! Ecstatic! Awestruck come to mind. Not only is this the PERFECT diamond, the craftsmanship on my custom made ring is museum perfect. I am so blown away, I am hiding my hand because I don't even want to share this ring's beauty with anyone yet! I had planned to do a whole big reveal photo shoot for Pricescope, but I think I blacked out because right there in the FedEx office I tore into the boxes and pulled out the sparkly! I laughed at the included inspection white gloves, because my immediate reaction was to put this ring on my finger! Thank you so much for your fantastic customer service and beautiful product! You made my sad situation happy! I don't know how I am going to work today! I will definitely be back.. my right hand is kind of jealous!

In June we received an e-mail from a soldier who was deployed to the Middle East:

Good evening (or good morning here in my case)! My name is Michael, I’m currently deployed to the Middle East. I would like to purchase an engagement ring before I get back to the states so I can propose to my gf! I’ve been on pricescope quite a bit and you have come highly recommended, so I’m hoping you can help me out!

Michael wanted a 3 stone princess cut trellis ring. We e-mailed back and forth in the middle of the night and he even put a call through to us at 4 a.m. CT! We sourced him 3 GIA certified Princess cut diamonds and created a beautiful 18K white gold three stone trellis engagement ring for his girlfriend Lori. All he had to go by were the e-mails and pictures of the process along the way.

When he got back to the USA in September we shipped the ring to him and did not hear back from him until last week when we received a very warm e-mail and the beautiful pictures below.

From Michael:

Hi Lesley,

I apologize for the huge delay in getting back to you and Brian, but wanted to follow up with you, and include a word from Lori. She absolutely loved the ring and the engagement was perfect! We cannot express enough gratitude for walking me through the ring buying process while deployed, I never thought I'd be comfortable buying an engagement ring sight unseen, but I would recommend you and Brian to anyone, you two were an excellent team from start to finish, I never doubted for a moment that we'd get a ring that was anything less than what we wanted. Thank you! Lori has not stopped staring at the ring, it gets so many comments. We even went into Tiffany's to get ideas for wedding bands and we couldn't help but notice how much this ring sparkled compared to their diamonds, the jewelers even commented on it! Below is a message from Lori too, she wanted to thank you in person.

And after this experience, we couldn't think of anyone else we would rather have make our wedding bands than you and Brian! We have a general idea of what we want and have included pics. I first of all would like to say thank you for the amazing work you did with my engagement ring. I absolutely love my three stone trellis style ring, and it is so much more than I could have ever dreamed. It suits the amazing man that proposed to me in October! My words may not be enough to explain this overwhelming experience, but I hope the pictures will do the job. Michael had a photographer catch the moment of his proposal!

We are so happy with the ring and customer service you provided Michael in creating this perfect ring, that we also are interested in you creating our wedding bands. Michael and I have spent a lot of time looking at wedding bands, and feel that we have a good idea of what we would like. We of course, trust your judgment and would appreciate your thoughts on what would work best with the engagement ring I already have.  We would love to hear your opinion, and maybe some possible pricing for rings. • Hi Lesley! I picked up the package you sent on Friday morning. I have to confess that after opening all the packaging I was a bit hesitant to open the beautiful box with the DBTY necklace in. I have wanted one for so long and I was a bit afraid that the one you custom-made for me wouldn’t meet my expectations. The first word that came to my mind when I finally opened the box was: EXQUISITE! The five diamonds are very sparkly and seem to look a lot bigger in real life than the dimensions you gave me. It not only meets my expectations, it far exceeds it. I am totally in love with it and can’t walk past a mirror without slowing down to look at it again. I have worn the necklace since Friday morning and have received numerous compliments already – many from strangers! I am wearing it at the moment with my diamond solitaire and I am trying to decide if I like it as it is, or want the one a little bit shorter than the other. I am leaning towards getting a spacer to lengthen my solitaire pendant, but I will see. The only thing I didn’t expect was that the chains of the two would tangle up while wearing it, but at the moment it doesn’t bother me that much.
