Hi Denise, I'm been rather busy but just wanted to let you know how much I love my earrings. They are so sparkly and absolutely comfortable. As a matter of fact, I can't even feel them on my ears. I had a couple of miscues with our local fedex office but finally picked them up on Wednesday before Christmas and I have worn them every day since. At the end of October we were contacted by a future customer who had received a diamond bow necklace that her husband had purchased from Fortunoff but she always felt that it was incomplete and wanted to add a diamond bezel set colored stone to it.  She purchased a pear shaped violet/blue spinel 1.98 ct..,measuring 9.8 x 6.4 mm and  a real "blueberry" blue pear.

She sent in the diamond necklace and the spinel and was very clear that she wanted the halo to be “mushroom” pave like the diamonds had been set in the bow. We created the halo using CAD and e-mailed the CAD files t her for her acceptance. We cast the setting and our first attempt did not give the required look, so we used larger stones, recast the halo and the result was perfect!

Hi Lesley, I just took a good look at Brian's photos and really, all I can think to say is WOW! The size and proportion, the color of that blue, the halo, the diamonds, the gallery- it all goes together so well. No one would ever know that we started with one half and added on the other. And my three rings…. yeah!!! I can't wait to see it in person tomorrow. I'm going to fall asleep having "good gem dreams" tonight! Thank you so much. I can't tell you how much I deeply respect and admire what you and Brian do, the quality of work that your company produces, the loving attention to detail that you give to every piece you make, and the care and treatment that you give to every customer. Hi Lesley, And the happy dance continues! My necklace is beautiful!!! I can see every diamond, and I can even see their little arrows. I can definitely see that the diamonds are a little bit bigger . The prongs are polished and they're not covering the diamonds anymore. It's really, really beautiful and it was so worth the wait. I really can't thank you and Brian enough! I love the size of the halo and the whole dangling pendant portion, and it has such a nice weight to it. Now it's a gorgeous necklace. My husband is going to be so pleased . You and Brian are a treasure. There are not too many people (or businesses) these days, who actually care about their customers being happy. You are such nice people, experts at what you do and a real pleasure to do business with. I can't thank you enough and I look forward to chatting with you about my next project. • Hi Lesley! I picked up the package you sent on Friday morning. I have to confess that after opening all the packaging I was a bit hesitant to open the beautiful box with the DBTY necklace in. I have wanted one for so long and I was a bit afraid that the one you custom-made for me wouldn’t meet my expectations. The first word that came to my mind when I finally opened the box was: EXQUISITE! The five diamonds are very sparkly and seem to look a lot bigger in real life than the dimensions you gave me. It not only meets my expectations, it far exceeds it. I am totally in love with it and can’t walk past a mirror without slowing down to look at it again. I have worn the necklace since Friday morning and have received numerous compliments already – many from strangers! I am wearing it at the moment with my diamond solitaire and I am trying to decide if I like it as it is, or want the one a little bit shorter than the other. I am leaning towards getting a spacer to lengthen my solitaire pendant, but I will see. The only thing I didn’t expect was that the chains of the two would tangle up while wearing it, but at the moment it doesn’t bother me that much. • Hi Lesley, I picked up the pendant this morning. I ripped into the packaging right there in the Fedex parking lot and literally gasped! I just took my breath away it was so beautiful. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be able to give my daughter something so beautiful for her graduation from nursing school. I know she is going to be delighted and so surprised when she sees it! • Hello, I have heard such wonderful things about you through Pricescope, and I love the pieces you have done! I was just wondering if you could give me a ballpark quote for a possible project I had in mind as a 21st birthday gift from my dad? I was interested in the full bezel pendant, in 14k white gold, set with a Brian Gavin Signature Hearts &  Arrows diamond between 0.30ct and 0.45ct (willing to go as low as SI2 in clarity as long as it is eye-clean, totally flexible on colour though).
