Each photo in your image gallery is such a delight to discover. The magnify tool is fabulous and allows one to appreciate the intricacy of your detail better than any other. The craftsmanship is simply beyond my expectations. I can't wait until I am ready to find a replacement for my lost stone.   Emerald Cut and Baguette Custom Platinum Ring

• The website looks absolutely AMAZING!!!  I love the colors- all the right things pop and they don't overwhelm.  I loooove the special offers page pull down-that's a great touch!!!  I love how everything keeps you on the main page so it's easy to navigate from each tab and go back.  All the pictures make you want to drool!!  Brian is truly an artistic God in my book!   They're uber artistic and still show everything in great detail which will make it easier for people to tell you what they want because you can see everything from all angles. Everything is verrrrrry easy to navigate. I like how you can click on the question mark by each category in the diamond search in case you don't know what you're looking at.  The YouTube videos are an awesome touch as well.  This is definitely not like any other site I’ve ever seen!  All in all- IT'S ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!!!  You guys have done an amazing job!!!!   I'm so proud of you!!!  It definitely reflects your styles and personality!

  The Now Famous Custom Platinum "Serendipity" Ring

At the beginning of October we began discussions with a customer who was not happy with the way that her radiant cut diamond had been set. The side baguettes did not give enough finger coverage and the ring just did not make the statement that she was hoping for. She wanted the setting to be elegant but to have some “drama” as well.

She sent in her ring and plain matching band and e-mailed a document with all her ideas laid out, which included parts of other rings and some architectural samples.  She had several discussions with Brian to fine tune the design elements of the new setting. We created the first rendition using CAD and realized that it needed an extra baguette on each end,  so we generated a second CAD which was perfect. We cast the custom platinum setting which was to hold her beautiful radiant cut center stone and 0.70 ctw baguettes which included 3 of the baguettes from her original setting.

As we become increasingly popular as custom jewelers, we are receiving more and more requests for custom settings for colored stones. In this post we feature 2 separate sapphire projects.

PROJECT 1:

Project one was a custom setting for a new sapphire sent in by the customer. It was set into an 18K white gold custom setting with tapered and square baguettes.

Dear Brian and Lesley, I received my sapphire ring yesterday, and it's GORGEOUS! I can't stop looking at it. The design is exactly what I was hoping for and the diamonds are beautiful – you really got it right. This is my replacement engagement ring for my 20th anniversary and I will definitely be proud to wear it every day for years to come. Thanks for being so attentive and for all the prompt answers whenever I had a question. This whole process was a very good experience. I took a lot of pictures this morning, so I'm sending you a few. PROJECT 2:

Project two was an 18K yellow gold and platinum 3 stone custom setting that was a reset project of a diamond that Brian had recut in May and the customer's two sapphires.

Lesley, I just received it!!!! It is absolutely PERFECT!!!! It looks perfect, fits perfect, performs perfect and STOPS TRAFFIC!!!! I am totally thrilled. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This ring is totally amazing Words cannot express my gratitude for such a perfect job done on this setting!!!! I can't quit starting at it.  Once again The Brian Gavin Team hit a HOME RUN!!!!!!
