Layla contacted us at the end of February interested in having us create a unique  18K White Gold Diamonds by the Yard Style Necklace for her. She had purchased a .66 round stone that had a chip in it and had Brian repair it. She then sent in her diamond band that had 7 small diamonds in it, along with a beautiful chain. We removed the diamonds from the band and set about creating the necklace for her. Each bezel was handmade and delicately milgrained. The result was spectacular and needless to say she was thrilled with it!

Having been bitten by the “Bezel” Bug, Claudia decided to order herself a pair of Brian Gavin Signature H & A diamonds and have us set them in our beautiful handmade bezel stud earrings. She took advantage of her $100 repeat customer discount too.

Hi Jamie, I was so excited to see the photos yesterday and couldn't stop thinking about how these earrings would look once I had them on. I picked up the earrings this morning and they are gorgeous! When I opened the box, the diamonds were so bright like I was looking into at two fireballs. The bezels are so delicate and exquisite, you can barely notice it from a foot away, and I think it enhances the size of the stone without seeing too much metal. They are the perfect size and setting for me for every day wear, the only way to make them better is to go up in size hehe. I won't be able to take photos of the earrings until later this evening, but I'll definitely make sure I'm wearing my DBTY necklace when I do (which I have on now!). • Hi Lesley,  I just picked up the ring from Fedex and it SURPASSES all of my expectations, it is one of the few times I can honestly say that the photos don't do it justice. I love everything about it. It has the perfect amount of flow in the design, the pavee diamonds in the band look amazing, but my favorite feature of it has to be the mount that the main stone is set in. It looks stunning and is so well done. I cannot sufficiently express how happy I am with this ring. The box it came in even looks great! • I have picked up the ring. It is finally complete and i feel very much at rest now that the ring is ready and looking incredible. I will be making a small ring box out of wood (probably spalted and figured maple) so that it can fit in my pocket and serve as a personal touch. Hi Brian and Lesley, I am a long time member of Pricescope and I have been admiring BGD designs for some time now. Your work is absolutely incredible in every new picture I see! I've always been leery about buying diamonds online but I think I have found a piece that I would love to get me started. I am very interested in the Diamonds By The Yard necklace but I have a question. I would like to know if the chain is strong enough to hold a pendant. My mom passed away in August and my father bought me an angel pendant that is 31mm in height and 23mm in width. Is this too large to hang from a chain like this?

We asked her to e-mail us a picture of the pendant so we could see what it looked like and if her idea would work. Once we had confirmed that it would we got to work and created an 18” handmade custom 18 carat Diamonds by the Yard necklace with 8 x .07 F/G VS Brian Gavin Signature Melee evenly spaced.  The 8^th diamond allowed the pendant to hang in the center with a diamond on each side.

Hi Lesley! I picked up my FedEx package and ripped it open in the car! Thank goodness there was no one else in the parking lot! I love, love, love my new necklace! It’s absolutely beautiful and looks PERFECT with my angel pendant! I didn’t realize how difficult it is to take photos of this necklace with the diamonds turning around on me. • I wanted to get back with you on what I thought about the piece…and wanted some time to live and wear it regularly before I did.
