Dear Jon,

Thank you so much contacting us via our blog! You've referenced our stunning Novela Engagement ring and it's engagement ring. Here is a link to our Novela on the website. Please scroll down the pictures on the website so that you can view how the matching band and engagement ring sit together. There is a minimal gap that is created to keep the bands from rubbing and eating away at the prongs on the engagement ring. This helps keep both rings in great condition without compromising either set.

<a href="http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/pave-and-side-stones/novela-platinum-5372p" rel="nofollow">http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/pave-and-side-stones/novela-platinum-5372p</a>

Let me know if you have any further questions. I hope this helps give you a better visual!

Love the novela, love the band but I never see the two together as they would seen be on finger. It looks like to me that they do not sit flush with each other. 1. Why is that? is there some function of the band not being flush with the engagement ring? 2. Is it possible to have them made so they perfectly match up with one another with no gap in between. 3. Could you post pictures as described. Thanks -Jon

I'm so in LOVE with my ring! Thank you so much for creating this master piece for me. Kirk and Mr. Gavin did a great job incorporating all the details in the ring, Kirk knows my love for nature, trees and how I like unique stuff. He came to Mr gavin with an idea of how I wanted my ring,(unique disign, some blue, hearts..). So the hearts and arrows work just perfect since I like hearts, the diamond cut is a quadex a unique cut square/round and the marquise cut diamond represent leaves, the round bezels were blue to accent the ring just like a wanted. This ring is everything I like and wanted and it is unique in every way. Thank you to my handsome fiance for paying attention and giving me the perfect ring and thank you to Mr. Gavin for doing such a great job designing it.

[...] The .20ct stones will certainly be the most proportionate look for the mm measurement of the stone that you're considering. If we go any smaller, the sides will look dwarfed and changed the entire flow of the setting.
