Love On Air: Sports Talk 790’s Adam and 94.5 The Buzz’s Theresa Get Engaged
With a headquarters in bustling Houston, Texas, the Brian Gavin Diamonds team listens to a whole lot of radio to make city traffic jams worth the wait. When Sports Talk 790 radio host, Adam Clanton, came to us with a plan to propose to long-time girlfriend and radio host of 94.5 The Buzz, Theresa "Rockface," we were all ears.
When we started our relationship with iHeartMedia, we learned that Adam had been planning to pop the questions to Theresa for some time. Our team had the pleasure of seeing Adam and Theresa together for a photo shoot in our showroom and could easily tell that their love was meant to last.
"She is a fantastic mother to a beautiful little girl, a wonderful and loyal friend, and one of the most talented and drop-dead gorgeous women you will ever come across in this industry or any other," said Adam. "When it comes to picking out a ring for someone like that, you'd better not screw it up!"
Thankfully, we know a thing or two about gorgeous rings. Our team worked with Adam to design a breathtaking custom, 4-prong solitaire ring for Theresa. "I was able to select the stone, setting and everything else I needed right there on Brian Gavin's web site and she was blown away," said Adam.
"When you're proposing to someone like Theresa, the element of surprise isn't exactly easy to pull off—this woman doesn't miss a thing," admitted Adam. Plotting to propose during a holiday gift exchange with friends, his present was definitely a shocking one. As Adam got down on one knee and unveiled the ring, Theresa said "yes" without hesitation.
"My diamond is so stunning. The sparkle is so intense; it seriously looks like it's plugged into an electrical outlet. The sparkle even twinkles in the dark. It takes my breath away," she said. We'd go as far to say her diamond gives the "rock" in "Rockface" a new meaning.
