Following the proposal in South Africa, we received beautiful pictures and the following excerpt:
Well, I proposed to Emma on the beach at sunset just outside Hermanus on the South East coast of South Africa on 27 December. It was a well planned but nervously executed proposal involving many members of my family. It will go down as a moment to remember for us all. The setting is just perfect. A seemingly low setting without sacrificing the prominence of the single stone. In all Emma is thrilled and continues to draw comments daily here in Shanghai. It really is a standout, without being ostentatious!
