For the setting, we decided to go with Brian Gavin (the man, the myth, the legend) based on the stellar reviews and the beautiful work displayed on his blog. (The stone is a yellow untreated sapphire from the Natural Sapphire Company. It is a radiant cut, 1.97ct (7x6x5mm) stone.)
Eeek! Lesley, I can't tell you how fantastically thrilled I am with the ring. Thank you a million! After we got to FedEx and opened the box, I was speechless. We went out to our favorite sushi place to celebrate and I couldn't stop looking at your beautiful work of art. I can't believe I get to wear such a spectacular piece every day! For someone who wears no jewelry, it'll be a change, but one I am eager to make. I really appreciate everything you, Brian, and the team have done for us, especially during the busiest time of the year. I came in not knowing what I really wanted, and Brian's advice to go with the Novela setting was spot on.
